Best place to stay 15 mins from downtown mobile. in my opinion.

very nice wooded campground, very cheap, full hookups, very minimal roadnoise from the interstate. huge recreation area with sportsfield, playgrounds, hiking and bikings tracks, disc golf course. highly recommended very peaceful.
