There are 14 picnic sites at Houston Recreation Area. It also features hiking trails and boat launch. A sandy swimming beach is located on site. Restrooms, showers, and water are available.

This campground seems to be closed. Day use only with some very nice picnic areas. All gates to campsites locked and looks as if they havent been used in some time. Beautiful area for a day trip.
