Description

A historic house built in the same year Alabama became a state in 1819. It is the oldest public house museum in the state. The Weeden family purchased it in 1845 where American artist and poet, Maria Howard Weeden was born. Visitors can tour the museum from Tuesdays to Saturdays, 10am to 11am and 1pm to 2pm. Appointments can also be arranged. Admission fee is $3 to $5.
