Beautiful view. However this is not a campground. This is only a parking lot for RVs. If you were planning on camping, you'd have better luck at Valdez Glacier Campground.

Register upon arrival at the yellow drop box. Campground manager will collect fees from unregistered campers by 8am daily. Beautiful spot on the water. Close to the road. During salmon spawning bear signings are common and you can watch them catching salmon.

Existing view over the bay from Valdez. Be Bear aware :-) Salmon Gulch Hatchery is right next to this Location. Between 5-8 am much traffic, very noisy! Worker from the Marine Terminal starts their day.
