Somewhat open campsite next to the river with group and individual sites for different sized vehicles (under or over 30 feet). A campground host does rounds checking to ensure rules are being followed (bear safety and quiet times enforced etc). Individual sites are first-come first-served - only after reservation is made and check in at the visitor centre completed (at the entrance near the highway). There are several toilets on the site as well as a covered picnic area, water, garbage/recycling, and food sheds or lockers. There are short flat easy walks nearby as well as the harder Alpine trail (~500m elevation gain). Free (green) bus shuttles are available to/from the site as well as other parts of the park. Some tours (such as rafting) won't collect from this location.
