This is the trailhead for the Ptarmigan Lake Trail. There are some picnic tables and fire rings and there is a fish viewing platform (August to September).

The information on here is INCORRECT- this site actually has a daytime use are and a small 16 site, first come, first served campground. Right off of Seward Highway, about 20 minutes from Seward proper, there is NO cell service here. There are pit toilets, Fire rings, and access to the beautiful trail.
