Very nice place, quiet noisy cause it's close to the highway. Loooot's of mosquitoes

Take the half hour loop trail around the lake and climb the wildlife viewing tower. There are also sheltered picnic tables and a boat launch.

Lake with free parking and loop walking trail just off the highway. There is a viewing platform overlooking the plains which you access via stairs. Used by lots of families. Everything is accessed via a dirt path from the road.
