Description
Palmer Visitor Information Center is housed in a log cabin in the heart of downtown, and serves the community of Palmer, Alaska, in preserving and sharing the art and culture of the Palmer community. The center also has a museum with historical collections containing items that best depict the region's exploration, settlement, agriculture, cultural and social development. Throughout the year, the museum also presents temporary and traveling exhibits that allow visitors to explore local artwork and contemporary issues concerning the Mat-Su Valley and other regions of Alaska.
