Description
At the Fish Creek Wildlife Observation Site, visitors can see both brown (grizzly) and black bears, and fish for pink salmon and chum. There are also nesting Canada geese, harlequin ducks, common mergansers, mink, beaver, bald eagles, and a wide variety of songbirds.

A bear or two being sited most mornings during early August. Comfortable, scenic boardwalk to viewing area.

Small fee charged during salmon season otherwise free. You can watch bears catching salmon from late July.

Tickets can only be purchased online or by the Recreation.gov app. Come early in the morning or late in the afternoon, there will be the best chance to see the animals. During august the salmons crossing the river and you can see the bears hunting the fishes. Great experience, worth the money.
