Description

The Gold Rush Cemetery is the oldest cemetery in Skagway and the easiest to visit, with many of the famous Gold Rush characters interred here including local kingpin Jefferson 'Soapy' Smith, and early tourism promoter Martin Itjen and his 'world's largest gold nugget.'

Nice campsite nestled in amongst the forest. Campsites are laid out well giving good privacy. Pit toilets were clean and bearable. Fire rings and picnic tables provided
