Description

The Iñupiat Heritage Center tells the story of the Iñupiat people, who have thrived for thousands of years in one of the harshest climates on Earth, hunting the bowhead, or "Agviq." The Heritage Center is one of several partners, associated through New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park legislation, who participate in telling the story of commercial whaling in the United States.
