Description
The Root Glacier Trail is a well-maintained, four-mile-long hiking trail that winds alongside the Kennecott and Root Glaciers. It's a great starting point for hikers who wish to be rewarded throughout the hike with great mountain and glacier views, and have the chance to spot bears cruising on the lateral moraine below.
