Description

Chevelon Crossing is a scenic and historic canyon area built originally by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. The campground is situated along Chevelon Creek, and includes seven campsites with picnic tables, fire pits, and a vault toilet. There is no drinking water available onsite, but Chevelon Canyon's spectacular views and marvelous fishing and hiking opportunities would surely make up for it.
