Description
Dead Horse Ranch State Park is centrally located near a variety of attractions guests can visit, including Jerome State Historic Park, Montezuma Castle, and the popular towns of Sedona and Jerome.
There are over 100 large RV sites available at Dead Horse, such as at Quail Loop with 43 campsites, at Red-Tail Loop with 36 campsites, at Cooper's Hawk Loop with 27 campsites, and at Blackhawk Loop with 17 non-electric campsites. Most pull-through sites can accommodate 40-foot motor homes and truck and trailer rigs up to 65 feet and include potable water and 30/50-amp service.
For guests without RVs, there's also a Camping Cabin Loop that features eight one-room log cabins furnished with a full-size bed, a bunk bed, a table and chairs, a dresser-drawer, a ceiling fan with overhead light, and electricity.
However, campers should bring their own linens. Each cabin also features a barbecue and picnic table outside, plus a small individual fire ring. All campground loops provide ADA-accessible restroom facilities and hot water and showers, which are free to registered campers.

Very nice and big campground. Hot showers. Nice facilities. Wasn't busy when we were there. Good to pitch a tent.
