Description
Freidlein Prairie Dispersed Camping allows camping at designated sites only along Freidlein Prairie Road. All designated campsites along Freidlein Prairie (FR 522) are located on the south side of the road, with the exception of campsite #1 and #3.
All designated campsites are also marked with a brown vertical fiberglass post with their corresponding site numbers and a 'Designated Campsite' decal.

Forest Service has designated 14 campsites along the Freidlein Prairie road for dispersed camping. Camping and campfires are allowed only at designated sites along Freidlein Prairie Road. See map on the website. All designated campsites along Freidlein Prairie (FR 522) are marked & located on the south side of the road with the exception of #1 & #3

Very rocky and uneven road. You have to drive far to reach the marked sites, in fact we had only seen 2 sites after driving 20 min. Just pulled over and stayed for the night. Very nice scenery, we could see the mountains through the beautiful forrest.
