Description

Located next to the Hannagan Meadow Recreation Area, the campground boasts access to the historic Hannagan Meadow Lodge, and the Blue Range Primitive Area. At 9,100 feet, it is one of the highest campgrounds in Arizona. There are eight single-unit non-hookup sites, potable water hydrants, convenient trailer parking, campground hosts available from May until September, and vault toilets. Trailers and motorhomes of up to 16ft. can fit in all sites, and pets are permitted on a leash. There are no camping fees, but donations are appreciated. Campers can also see a variety of wildlife species, such as elks, mule deer and wild turkey. Black bear sightings also happen frequently.
