Description

Part of the Horsethief Basin Recreation Area, Hazlett Hollow Campground is a small, semi-primitive campground, which offers 15 campsites complete with picnic tables, barbecue grills, and three-sided shelters built in the 1930s. The campground has two vault toilets and two water pumps, and has various activities for campers to try such as climbing, wildlife watching, paddling, and off-roading. Although Hazlett Hollow is accessible to camper trailers, it is recommended to bring high clearance vehicles due to the road condition. No reservations or bookings are needed, as the campground offers a first-come, first-served service.
