Description
A haven above the desert with a stunning mountain view. Definitely a refuge for all outdoor enthusiasts with all the activities that can be done such as camping, hiking, biking, picnicking, and wildlife viewing. It is home to wildlife animals like elk, mule deer, fox and a lot more.
Nice hikes to Aspen peak, Hualapei peak and Dinosaur rock.
There are 70 individual campsites scattered in three areas, all comes with a picnic table and some has water. There are no showers available in the site. Day rate is at $10, while camping is at $30.
You can also opt to stay in the rustic cabins that can house 2 to 10 people.
Road to the camp and in the camp are paved.
Campsites are first come - first serve.
Many campsites are hidden and cannot be seen from the road
Very friendly and helpful police in the park!
