Description

The vast majority of all three ranger districts of the Kaibab National Forest is open to dispersed camping unless specifically restricted for reasons such as proximity to developed campgrounds or other natural or cultural resource concerns. Dispersed camping is the term used for camping anywhere in the National Forest outside of a developed campground. 14 day limit. Where possible use existing campsites to limit resource damage. Be prepared. No amenities such as water, trash cans or restrooms are provided. Follow Leave No Trace principles at www.LNT.org & Tread Lightly at www.treadlightly.org/. Camping within 1 mile of a developed campground, administrative site or other developed recreation site is prohibited. Camping within one-quarter of a mile of a watering hole is prohibited as it denies the wildlife and domestic livestock access to available water.

Easy to get to, lots of good spots, look around. Not crowded at all, tow vehicle F350 and 29' travel trailer. No problem on these roads, gravel but good shape. Good place to include in your trip. Stayed 5/20/22 thru 5/22/22.

Nice and free in the woods. Plenty space. Nothing more, nothing less
