Description
At 9,000 feet, KP Cienega Campground is one of the highest campgrounds in the state. Campers can choose among five single-unit sites, and trailers and motorhomes with a maximum length of 16ft can be accommodated. There are no utility hookups, but vault toilets, fire rings with cooking grills, and picnic tables are available in the area.
The KP Trailhead is directly adjacent to the campground, and provides hiking and backpacking opportunities into the Blue Range Primitive Area and the KP Trail # 70, which has connections to other trails within the area.
