Description

Near Mingus Lake sits Mingus Mountain Campground, offering 19 campsites with fire rings and picnic tables. While there's currently no electricity in the campground, guests can still enjoy camping as there are five vault toilets and a garbage service in the area, as well as drinking water made available to use onsite (not for filling water tanks). Open only from May to October yearly, Mingus Mountain Campground also has a small pond that has trout and bullheads, and are especially good for fishing with kids. There are also several hiking trails nearby with breathtaking views.
