Description
Stockton Pass was named after rancher Old Man Stockton, who settled in the area in the 1870s, and was the father of the Clanton Brothers involved in the famous gunfight at the OK Corral.
The campground is located right at the apex of the pass, offering views of Sulphur Springs Valley and the Galiuro and Santa Catalina mountains to the west.
Featuring a scenic drive with panoramic view of the mountains, Stockton Pass Campground has one group camping area that can accommodate up to 110 people and can be reserved. Amenities onsite are vault toilets, several picnic tables, pedestal grills and campfire rings with grills. There are also bear-proof trash cans provided to keep visitors and bears safe.
