Description
Little Painted Desert County Park is an area attraction at Homolo'vi State Park, and is a small overlook with a view of the painted desert. Visitors are recommended to go early in the morning and in the late afternoon to fully experience the slanting light, which enhances the colors and shadows reveal details of the geology.

Exploring Oz and Beyond
Found this spot today after driving past the actual lookout. Some tables and chairs at the lookout, and an old disused toilet. Down the road a little just a couple of pull outs. Lovely spot for a night. Did not see any no camping signs.
