Description

Sabino Canyon Recreation Area is one of the premier natural areas in Southern Arizona, where visitors walk, jog, hike, wildlife watch, photograph and so much more. The Recreation Area itself has over 30 miles of various trails, and is near several campgrounds - Spencer Canyon, Rose Canyon, Whitetail, Showers Point, Molino Basin, Gordon Hirabayashi, General Hitchcock, and Peppersauce. There are Sabino Canyon Volunteer Naturalists onsite, who can provide current information on guided nature walks, family activities, and school field trips. Service animals are permitted in Sabino Canyon, but pets are prohibited.
