Description
Located in the historic Painted Desert Community Complex, the Painted Desert Visitor Center is open year-round and provides visitor information, brochures, and a free 18-minute orientation film shown continuously.
Visitors can also find a bookstore, a gift shop and a convenience store adjacent to the visitor center.This is the only place where a permit for Devil's Playground can be obtained.
