Description

Located in Sabino Canyon Recreation Area, the Sabino Canyon Visitor Center is immediately north of the parking lot. Visitors are greeted by friendly staff, who can answer questions about nearby points of interest or on flora and fauna common to the canyon. The staff also provide detailed information about hiking trails in the area. Visitors can peruse through the aisles of books, audio and videotapes, and mementos of Sabino Canyon and Southern Arizona. The Visitor Center is fully accessible, and offers hands-on exhibits and videos that may be enjoyed by the hearing and visually-impaired visitors.
