Description

A 5-mile round trip to this trail might leave you exhausted, but the sight is worth the strenuous hike. The national park service is warning everyone that there might be a chance that a lethal amoeba could be found in the spring, but you can still enjoy dipping since amoeba enters the body through the nose. As long as you keep your head high in the water, you will be safe. The trail system is closed every summer from May 15 to September 30.
