Amazing hiking but very very difficult ! If you decide to go for a one day hike, you need to walk to Plateau Point. It's amazing but it's a 12miles track (8-10h walk) Walk to Colorado River at the bottom need 2 days and you have to pay for a campground

Steep trail which leads to Indian Garden. Grab a hiking brochure from the visitors center. Toilets can be found along the trail.

Amazing hike. Made it to the river and back in one day - 9.5 hours, including 1hr break at Indian campground and ~40 mins at the river. Completed in August albeit with monsoonal cloud shade in the afternoon. But definitely doable in a day.
