Description

Cathedral Rock is a natural sandstone butte on the Sedona skyline has been dubbed one of the most photographed sights in Arizona! Hikers can take the popular Cathedral Rock trail (USFS Trail #170), which is a short, steep ascent from the Back O' Beyond trailhead to the saddle points or 'gaps' in Cathedral Rock. Cathedral Rock used to be called 'Court House Rock' and some older maps still refer to the rock as this.
