East Rim Viewpoint Trailhead is the beginning of a wilderness trail located within the Saddle Mountain Wilderness on the North Kaibab Ranger District. There are no toilets nor drinking water available at the trailhead or at the trail itself, so visitors are reminded to bring everything they need.

Road in is gravel very easy. Beautiful road with pines and campgrounds along the way.The view over the east rim of the Grand Canyon is nice but not impressive.
