Description
Giant Logs Trail is a 1.0km moderately trafficked loop trail in Petrified Forest National Park that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels.
It is an easy, paved walk behind the Rainbow Forest Museum, which give visitors a stunning view of an excellent grouping of petrified trees, including some of the largest and most colorful in the National Park. Visitors can also see and take photos with a log known as 'Old Faithful', which measures almost ten feet wide at its base.
The trail is great for hiking, walking with pets, nature trips, and bird watching and is accessible year-round.
