Description
Come and visit Goldfield Ghost Town and Mine Tours, and explore the many shops and historic sites such as the historic Mammoth Gold Mine and the Goldfield Museum. Visitors can pan for gold and take a ride on Arizona's only narrow gauge train, as well as witness an old west gun fight performed by the famous Goldfield Gunfighters.
Goldfield's history dates back in 1890s, and boasted three saloons, a boarding house, a general store, a blacksmith shop, a brewery, a meat market and a school house. And after several failed attempts in re-opening the mines, the town came to life again from 1910 to 1926.
Today, the tourist attraction houses the Superstition Scenic Narrow Gauge Railroad's 36 gauge train with a Plymouth diesel pulling a passenger car and a caboose; the approximately 25-minute underground guided Goldfield Mine Tour; the Superstition Live Reptile Exhibit; the Eagle Eye Shooting Gallery; and the Mystery Shack. Visitors can also try the delicious meals served at The Mammoth Steakhouse & Saloon, such as the famous Mammoth Burgers.

Nice restored ghost town! With shops, cafes etc. When you're here on a Sunday, don't miss church at 11a.m. and party at the Saloon afterwards, with country music, light beer, guns and real cowboys ;-)
