An arch-gravity dam between Arizona and Nevada, built during the Great Depression of the 1930s. The area can be visited by the public, and there are activities and tours you can purchase. It is usually open from 9am to 5pm daily.

Security check before the dam wall. You cannot have any firearms in your vehicle if you want to drive over the dam wall. We had to turn around.

Tours:1) power plant 15$, 2) power plant + some extra places in the dam 30$. Parking is posible in parking house nearby for a fee or there are limited places to leave a car for free by the road on Arizona side and then go there by walk.
