Description
Meteor Crater Rest Area serves traffic in both directions on I-40 between mileposts 235 and 237, and is a short drive north of the actual meteor crater itself.
The rest area offers restrooms, drinking fountains, vending machines for a quick snack fix, spacious car and truck parking, designated pet exercise areas and pet stations, shaded ramadas and picnic tables, local and statewide information panels for tourists looking for more info and destinations, and ADA accessible parking and restrooms.
