Housing the popular Douglas Mansion built in 1916 by a family of influential mining entrepreneurs, Jerome State Historic Park has been a tourist landmark in Jerome, Arizona since then. The historic house museum features historical anecdotes of the Jerome area, with exhibits filled with artifacts, minerals, and photographs, in addition to a 3-D model of the town with underground mines. Guests can also see the Douglas library and upstairs bathroom, and the outside exhibit area surrounding the mansion, featuring mining equipment and interpretive panels.
