Description

Named after Congressman John Fletcher Lacey of Iowa who was a major supporter of the National Parks and the Antiquities Act, Lacey Point is a major viewpoint that looks towards Pintado Point and Pilot Rock, both capped with the basalt Bidahochi Formation above the red Chinle Formation of the Painted Desert.
