Description
Enter a train-lover's haven at the heart of Scottsdale, and soak in over 50 years of history in this family-friendly themed park. McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park is the most unique park of its kind, as visitors can take a ride on the 1950-vintage Allan Herschell carousel or ride the Paradise & Pacific Railroad that features three steam locomotives, several scale model cards, and a 32 x 200 train shed for provided protection.
Aside from the rides, present in the park are playgrounds, the Scottsdale Railroad Museum, and the Family Circus Pavilion - home to the "Giddy-Up, Daddy" statue in honor of cartoonist Bil Keane. Visitors can also book picnic ramadas online or dine at their drop-in area with 30 tables.
