Description
Established in the 1900s, Montezuma Castle is the third National Monument dedicated to preserving a set of well-preserved dwellings representing Native American culture. The castle features five stories and around 20 rooms. The national park encompasses 826 acres and houses numerous species of plants, such as mesquite, catclaw, and saltbush.

View the amazing village (castle) built by the southern Sinagua farmers into a cliff recess. Built sometime between 1100 and 1300AD. Half mile accessible loop trail with interpretive signage.
