Historic Route 66, Golden Valley, Arizona
Description
As you traverse the historic Mother Road into Arizona, you will find yourself in an equally historic town that maintained its Wild West vibes, that is Oatman Ghost Town.
It is a nice stopover with donkeys left and right. Just be wary, these donkeys hate dogs, so better not to keep them near each other. Tourists can pet the burros, but are also advised to take proper precautions because donkeys could be a little wild and fight each other, and in the process, hurt guests, too.
There are a lot of shops, vintage items, and restaurants you can visit here as well. One that is famous with the tourist is the Oatman Hotel where the interior is covered with dollar bills.

Good old town, there's wild donkey's walking the street. There's a gun shoot out show in street. Good places to shop and eat. There is no gas station!

Steeplechase
Great side trip! Like an old west town. Many donkeys around. We aproached town from the west to east and left heading towards Kingsman in a 30 foot motorhome no issues just take your time.
