Description

Plan a visit to one of the largest non-government funded aviation and space museums in the world, the Pima Air & Space Museum. The museum offers two tours: the Tram Tour which can be purchased upon arrival and highlights the 80-acre museum facility; and the AMARG 'Boneyard' Tour which requires advanced reservations, and departs from the museum and takes visitors on a motor coach to the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.

We were very impressed by this museum, definitely one of the best ones we have ever seen, and we reckon $19 per adult is worth it. The outside yard is huge with an astonishing variety of multiple aircraft. Our favourite display was the WW2 hanger, and we were fortunate to be educated by the knowledgable volunteers, they truly are exceptional, and it was heart-warming to experience how proud they are of the exhibit.
