Description

The Flatiron via Siphon Draw Trail is a 8.9-km heavily trafficked out and back trail that features beautiful wild flowers. The trail is primarily used for hiking, and visitors are recommended to go to Flatiron from September until June. Although the way to Flatiron is deemed difficult, dogs are still able to hike it but should be on a leash. The top of the Flatiron is an uneven plateau with a stunning view of Arizona's lower desert, and is a great place to sit down, rest, and get some selfies. There is also good cell reception at the Peak so hikers can post or go live on social media during the hike.

Great hike to the Flat Iron. Took us 5 hours round trip from the Lost Dutchman campground, with few stops. The trail is hard to find at times, but essentially just follow up the wash. Best early in the morning, otherwise too hot. Amazing view from the top!
