Description
The United States Naval Observatory Flagstaff Station (NOFS) is an astronomical observatory in Flagstaff. At 7,600 feet above sea level, the observatory is the Navy's highest-elevated observatory to date and is considered a national dark sky observing site. The observatory has successfully managed to maintain its dark sky by working collaboratively with federal, state, and local agencies and private and commercial landowners.

Great spot. Nice place in the woods. Shade zone and big space for caravan and camping car.Very quiet and safe. No water, no bathroom.. only stars ;)

No parking / no camping signs, and even signs that only authorized persons are allowed there. So we turned around, didnt want to risk any trouble.
