Description

Make an important stop on the Southwest Trail at the Historic Washington State Park, where James Bowie, Sam Houston, and Davy Crockett famously traveled through. The 101-acre state park is a museum village with a collection of pioneer artifacts from the town of Washington, which is a former pioneer settlement along the Southwest Trail. It offers walking interpretive tours throughout the 54 buildings.
