Description
Trees are all around this campground, with the Lytle Creek flowing across the street. It has a total of 44 first come, first serve campsites, but there are times that some of those won't be available due to hazard trees. It is usually closed weekly from 2 pm of Tuesday and reopens at 8 am on Thursday for maintenance and cleaning.
Camping fee is $10 a night for 8 people and 1 vehicle. An extra vehicle would cost $5 a night. You can pay via cash or check at the self-serve station at the campground entrance. You can also use the Applewhite picnic area just across the street.
Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 6 am. There are no dump stations, water or electric hookups. Wastewater should not be drained on the ground. Pets are allowed but must be kept on leash. There is a flush toilet located in the campground.
If you have an OHV, you can use it at OHV areas which are within 20 minutes away.
