Description

Note: Atwell Mill campground is temporarily closed in 2021 due to hazardous trees around the campsite. Please check their website for updates about reopening. A total of 21 tent-only campsites are available on a first come, first serve basis at Atwell Mill campground. It sits along the east fork of the Kaweah River. Vault toilets and potable water are available in the campground. Trash bins and food storage lockers are provided. As of now, there are no accessible campsites designated at Atwell Mill. Roads are also unpaved and uneven. Storing food properly is required as bears frequent the area. You can bring your pets with you but they must be on leash not longer than 6 feet at all times. Camping fee is $12 a night for up to 6 people per site.
