Settled in Stanislaus National Forest, Baker Campground can be found in a mixed conifer forest along the banks of the Stanislaus River, offering 44 first-come, first-serve sites with a few doubles and two walk-in sites. Each campsite has a picnic table and a fire ring, and campers will have access to hydrants that serve several sites as a water source.

Beautiful spot. Right next to a stream and a short walk away from a beautiful meadow and the start of a trail. Closeby Kennedy meadows offers a small store and a restaurant. The place felt like a Yosemite, but with far less people.
