Description
Bicentennial Campground is the easiest to reach campground in Golden Gate National Park, and is approximately 100 yards from the parking area near Battery Wallace. The campground is a great location for those wanting to camp near the city, but want great vistas while they relax as there are only three tent camping sites available in the area. There is a moderate short hill climb to and from the campground, being downhill towards the site and uphill back to the parking area.

Vister Center is really near by - you can also make your reservation early on same day but need a little luck. On the way up to this spot are smal parkingplaces beside the road - there and at vista point (directly after crossing the bridge) its allowed to sllep in the car. Vista point also has toillets.
