Description

Located on the Calaveras Ranger District, Big Meadow Campground is a scenic camping area tucked within a conifer forest of red fir, white fir, and lodgepole pine with scattered quaking aspen. There are 68 camping sites that are large, private and shady with some natural granitic rock outcrops scattered throughout.
