Description

Located in the Upper Kern River, campers here can go fishing, kayaking, rafting, and even hiking. It features 52 paved sites in oak and locust tree setting. There is a group site that can accommodate up to 30 people. Vault toilets, drinking water, and fire rings are provided. Sites can be reserved through recreation.gov or their hotline. Swimming in the river is prohibited because of the danger brought by strong currents. Campfire permits must be obtained at the local Ranger station. Camping fee is $28 per night. Group campsite is $116 a night. The campground is open from May to September.
