Description

Note: Davy Brown Campground is temporarily closed from July 25,2021 to March 30, 2022 due to the removal and replacement of two concrete low-water road crossings. Nestled along Davy Brown Creek, campers can relax in the sounds of the water while enjoying a picturesque view of nature. All of its 13 scenic sites have picnic table, fire rings, and pedestal BBQs provided. 2 vault bathrooms that are wheelchair accessible are in the campground as well as potable water. There are 3 trash bins for easy trash disposal. RVs up to 25 feet in length can be accommodated, but no hookups are available. Campers enjoy basking in the water holes along the creek when it's hot. You must remember though, that fishing is not allowed in the creek. Several hiking trails can be accessed from here such as Davy Brown/Fir Canyon trail, Lower and Upper Manzana Trailheads. Annual deer season is from August to September which attracts hunters. Camping fee is $20 a night where guests can stay for a maximum of 14 days. Reservations can be made through their hotline or via recreation.gov.
